How to Install Rust Cheats
Installing Raw Rust is similar to Fortnite but with a few Rust-specific considerations because EAC handles injection differently than BattlEye. The whole process takes about 5 minutes from purchase to your first cheated wipe.
What you need
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC
- Rust installed via Steam
- A credit card or Bitcoin/Litecoin
- Administrator access to your Windows account
Step 1: Buy Raw Rust
Visit the Raw Rust product page and choose your subscription length. For Rust we strongly recommend at least a 1-week pass if you're planning to play through a force wipe (the first Thursday of every month). Most ban waves hit 24-48 hours after wipe and you want active loader maintenance during that window — the day-pass tier might expire before the danger window closes.
Crypto payment (BTC/LTC via BTCPay) gets 10% off automatically. Card payments via Stripe also work.
Step 2: Get your license key
License key generates instantly on payment confirmation. Save it from the order confirmation page or your email — you'll need it every time you launch the loader.
Step 3: Download the Rust loader
The Rust loader is a separate executable from the Fortnite loader because EAC requires a different injection approach. Download from your order email or download portal. About 2-3 MB.
Step 4: Close Rust completely
Before running the loader, fully close Rust and any open Steam clients. EAC starts when Steam launches Rust, so the loader must inject before that happens. Check your taskbar to confirm both Rust and Steam are closed.
Step 5: Run the loader as administrator
Right-click the loader and select Run as Administrator. Click Yes on the UAC prompt. Enter your license key when prompted. The loader validates, downloads the latest cheat build, and prepares for injection. The EAC bypass takes about 15-20 seconds the first time you run it.
Step 6: Launch Rust through Steam
Once the loader shows "Ready" status, launch Rust through Steam as you normally would. The cheat injects when Rust finishes loading and reaches the main menu. Open the in-game cheat menu with INSERT and configure your settings before joining a server.
For Rust we strongly recommend configuring the AK recoil compensation curve before your first PvP encounter. The default 80% residual pull works for most players but you can dial it up to 90% for cleaner sprays or down to 70% for more natural-looking kill cams.
Wipe day considerations
If you're installing during a force wipe weekend, expect the loader to be slightly slower than normal because demand spikes around wipe. The loader may also push 1-2 updates during the first 24 hours after wipe to handle EAC signature changes — restart the loader between matches if you see "update available" messages.
The HWID spoofer is essentially mandatory for Rust because Facepunch is aggressive with hardware bans. Run Raw Spoofer before creating any new Steam account you plan to cheat on, and pair it with this cheat for full hardware-level protection.
Troubleshooting
Loader fails to start — Run as administrator and add an exception in Windows Defender for the loader folder.
EAC blocks injection — Check Discord for loader downtime announcements. EAC pushes signature updates roughly every 2-4 weeks and the loader needs a fresh build for each one.
Cheat menu doesn't open — Make sure the loader status is Ready BEFORE you launch Rust. If the cheat doesn't inject automatically, restart Rust without restarting the loader.
